Welcome . . .
Why
invest in
gold, silver, copper, molybdenum and other commodities?
Commodities
are much needed in our everyday life. They are also directly related to
the
economy. As economies grow so does the demand
for metals. Asian
economies for example are expanding very quickly and metals are being
consumed at a greater rate year over year. Mines have a finite
lifespan
and new mines are urgently needed to pick up the slack as older
mines shut
down. With increasing demand and a shrinking supply for metals new
mines are needed to come on stream
in addition to replacing those which are closing down. The
opportunities for metal companies that have a defined sizeable
deposit
has
never been better or profitable given the increasing price of these
commodities. We are in the midst of a metals supercycle
with no end in sight as Asian economies continue to expand.
Gold and silver have been
gaining investor attention because in economic hard
times they have historically been shown to perform well. We
have watch lists for gold and silver
companies and base metal companies (ie copper, zinc, nickel) which have
potential for growth. Bank deposits offer very little opportunity
for any real gain when inflation
and taxes are taken into account but investing in selected
commodities can outperform and provide a hedge against inflation.
Most
of
us lead busy lives and don't have much time to
compile watch lists
and
relevant information on an ongoing basis. Information
provided on
this site and the links built into the watch
lists provide a quick and easy to navigate format for simplifying
the process of doing one's due
diligence.
Information
presented
on this site was gathered from a variety of sources and while

It's
important
to be aware
that most junior resource companies never end up becoming a
mine.
It doesn't matter how good the management or their geological team or
the
project itself, statistically few actually reach
production. Regular
attention
to
your investments is necessary. Long term "buy and hold"
strategies
are not generally recommended. There are however some
excellent
opportunities available for those who are prepared to do some due
diligence
and uncover the opportunities. Great rewards
come with inherent
risks attached. Managing those risks by doing some homework will
enhance your opportunities for success.
We would appreciate your feedback
suggestions and comments regarding this site.
Thank you and good
Investing !
